Honoring Life, Love, and Legacy This Undas

Every year, Undas serves as a heartfelt reminder of the enduring connection between the living and the departed a time not only to grieve but to celebrate love, memory, and legacy. In keeping with this spirit, Dearly Departed launched its Undas Campaign 2025 from October 27 to 31, 2025, reaching out to communities across Bulacan.
This year’s campaign was more than a tradition, it was a journey of connection and compassion. From visiting flood affected cemeteries to hosting a heartwarming Trick or Treat event, and ending with a meaningful community outreach in Guiguinto, each activity reflected DDC’s mission to honor lives with dignity and bring comfort to families.
October 27 to 29: Visiting Cemeteries and Reconnecting with Communities

The first three days of our campaign were spent visiting public and Catholic cemeteries throughout Bulacan. Our goal was to extend our presence beyond our facilities, to be among the people, listen to their stories, and share in their remembrance of loved ones.
We placed informational tarpaulins, distributed flyers, and personally engaged with families visiting their departed. These small yet sincere acts allowed us to reaffirm DDC’s commitment to helping Filipinos remember with dignity and peace.
One visit that deeply moved us was in Hagonoy, Bulacan, where we were met with a heartbreaking sight, cemeteries submerged in floodwaters. Residents shared that this has been their reality for years. Many expressed sadness that they could no longer visit their loved ones due to the flooding.

What should have been a peaceful moment of remembrance had turned into one of longing and helplessness. Standing there, we were reminded of our purpose, to advocate for dignified and meaningful remembrance, even amid life’s most challenging conditions.
October 30: DDC Trick or Treat Year 2 – A Celebration of Joy and Community

After three days of solemn visits, we welcomed a day of laughter and joy through our DDC Trick or Treat Year 2 celebration on October 30. The event gathered children and parents from nearby communities for a day of fun and togetherness.
The program began with prayer, setting a tone of gratitude and unity. Children showcased their creative Halloween costumes, each one full of imagination and effort. Games and activities followed, filling the venue with laughter and excitement.
The celebration ended on a sweet note with the distribution of loot bags overflowing with candies, and a group photo capturing everyone’s smiles. The event reminded us that remembrance can also be joyful, that celebrating life honors the legacy of those who came before us.
October 31: Sharing Light at Endless Love Memorial Park

To conclude our campaign, we set up a community booth at Endless Love Memorial Park in Guiguinto, Bulacan on October 31. Our team distributed flyers, along with free candles paired with prayer cards and complimentary 2026 calendars.
This simple yet meaningful gesture symbolized hope and continuity, a reminder that remembrance doesn’t end with Undas, but lives on in our hearts and daily lives. Through each candle shared, we spread the light of faith and compassion that defines our mission at DDC.
A Week of Reflection, Kindness, and Connection
The Undas Campaign 2025 was a week that united communities through remembrance, empathy, and love. From the flooded cemeteries of Hagonoy to the laughter of children during our Trick or Treat celebration, and the quiet prayers shared at Endless Love Memorial Park, every moment spoke of what DDC stands for, dignity, compassion, and care.
At Dearly Departed, we believe that remembrance is not bound by place or time, it lives on through every story shared, every candle lit, and every heart that continues to remember.
